About Adoption Services

About Adoption Services, Inc

We provide free assistance and information to pregnant women, birth mothers and parents regardless of whether you are placing a child for adoption or are raising your child yourself.

We Care

We truly care about women and children.  We were founded on the basis that we want to help women who are considering placing a child for adoption.  Additionally, we always do everything we can to assist pregnant women and birth mothers to find every possible resource or source of information to help themselves and their children irregardless of whether they are placing the child for adoption or raising the children themselves.

We are here to help both you and your child.

Non-Profit

Adoption Services is a non-profit private child adoption agency.  We are licensed in multiple states and we are able to help a birth mother or birth father living in any of the 50 U.S. states.  We can even help a U.S. birth mother living abroad.

Since our founding in 1985, we have worked with over 9,000 birth parents from all over the world and our overall satisfaction rating by birth mothers and birth fathers (as well as adopting families) has been excellent.

Our Goals

Adoption Services is a full licensed child adoption agency, We care about you and your child. We want you both safe and happy. Provide free comprehensive counseling and guidance to pregnant women and birth mothers, and support them in whatever decisions they make.

To provide a child adoption program that takes all of the birth parent's needs and desires into consideration and to proceed in a way that avoids the risks birth parents face if they proceed on their own with a private adoption.

Find the safest and most loving home into which a birth parent can place their child.

Provide follow-up services needed by a birth parent until their child has reached the age of 18.

We do not just match a birth mother and her child with a family and then leave everyone to find their own way through the child adoption process. As a full service, non-profit, and licensed child adoption agency, we can help a birth mother or birth father anywhere in the world who wants to consider placing their child for adoption and we identify and match their child with the perfect adopting family. We then provide all the ongoing assistance needed, by all parties, every step of the way. We help, for as long as it takes, from beginning to end.

We are different from county child adoption programs and many other child adoption agencies in several ways:

  • We provide the highest level of warm, caring and personal attention, and all contacts are always confidential

  • You can choose to have either an open adoption or closed adoption or anything in between

  • You have the choice of whether or not to help select the adopting family.  You can choose to meet them or not.

  • You have the option to receive photos of, and letters from, your child as they grow

  • We use only direct placements, so there is never any foster care

  • We make sure all your medical, legal, and other adoption related expenses are fully covered

  • We provide free counseling by a PhD psychologist with 40 years of experience

  • We very carefully screen all potential adoptive families

  • We've helped over 9,000 birth mothers, birth fathers, and adopting families in every kind of situation you can imagine

  • We help civilian and military birth parents in all 50 states and in any foreign country

  • We are available whenever or wherever you need us, 24 hours a day every day, including weekends and holidays.
